Justin Laskowski        MFAST General Manager

Justin grew up in Bay City, MI and after graduating from Bay City Western High, he graduated from Michigan State University in 2005. At MSU Justin excelled as a leader and star of the MSU diving team, taking home many first-place finishes. Justin excelled after college, too, as a sales rep selling copiers, then uniforms. Then, Justin joined Model First Aid, Safety & Training and has taken his success to the next level. Justin not only manages and serves a large customer base in the Grand Rapids metro area, but he also manages the MFAST division, supervising Theresa and Justin W., purchasing and handing inventory, supplier relations, etc. Customers like that Justin provides them a necessary, convenient, dependable, quality service at a reasonable price, honestly and with integrity. One example is when Justin had a customer asking to buy a new AED (defibrillator) because theirs wasn’t working.  Justin first decided to inspect theirs, and found that he could fix it, for free, instead of selling them a new one. Justin definitely lives Model’s Mission to “build loyal relationships with customers, team members and community.”  Justin likes Model “because I like the culture and the people, and how we work together as a team.”  Justin’s next goal is to add an additional route and to double MFAST sales—then he’ll take another trip to Hawaii like he did on his honeymoon! When not working, Justin loves being with his wife, Lindsay, and their active twin 6-year old boys!  When he’s not golfing (he’s really good!), coaching diving or going swimming, he’s working hard on his gigantic, beautiful, saltwater fish tank.

THERESA SANDER           MFAST SALES CONSULTANT

Theresa is a proud graduate of Pinconning High School, just north of Bay City on Saginaw Bay, and then from Western Michigan University with a B.A in Organizational Communications and Marketing. Theresa joined Model in 2011 after working as a sales representative in other industries and as a proud homemaker. Theresa has done a great job at Model and has received seven yearly awards for top performance. She chose Model because it allows her to provide for her family in a rewarding way and gives her the freedom to create her own route and take care of her customers as she wants.  Theresa loves the variety of her daily work and being able to sell customers items based on their actual needs, and the atmosphere at Model. “The Subar family treats me like I am part of the family.” Customers appreciate Theresa maintaining both their first aid cabinet supplies and general safety needs. Once, a few months after teaching a CPR, class, one of the customer’s employees had a heart attack and passed out. Thanks to the skills Theresa had just taught them, the team was able to save his life. She is so proud of them, and she received a personal letter of gratitude from the survivor himself.  When not saving lives, Theresa enjoys listening to praise music, singing and scrapbooking, as well as going to Radiant Church and worshiping with her family. Paul, her husband of over 28 years and her three boys, two currently in college and one in high school, all live at home—so it’s a very busy household in Hickory Corners. Theresa plans on continuing her education on MiOsha standards for the workplace, and growing her route territory, and continuing to provide outstanding, award-winning service to her current accounts.
